  13. Last my my A3000 keyboard connected to A1200 dropped
  14. to floor and suffered most disgusting damage -
  15. Control/LShift/LAlt-keys broke off.

  17. I managed to gfix them temporarily, bt now the Control
  18. key refuses to work at all. ANd I mean it, it just
  19. doesnt take any keypresses.

  21. This gives quite a problem, since CONTROL is after all very
  22. important. You need it to break operations, and in UNIX
  23. world you are very stuck if you cant do any CONTROL+anything
  24. operations, like send messages etc.

  26. Fixing it might be possible, but I dont have time for
  27. it right now, I got to do Net-using on PC until I've got
  28. it fixed. But meantime, is the any probgram that I could
  29. use to "empulate" Control? SOme key combination that
  30. would send "Contro" signal? Like shift+alt=control, and
  31.  
  32. I could SOMEHOW do work?

  34. ANd I'm not that typist BTW; but this stupid PC doesnt
  35. let me backspace :-) One HUGE reason more to get
  36. some kind of COntrol-keypress :-)

  38. A3000 keyboard is otherwise great, but it built too badly
  39. considering the trouble it causes by breaking. And it's
  40. hard to get and costs real much around here.... :-(
